Act Two, Scene Two

February 9, 2014
E.Q.:  How do we see force/manipulation in Act 2, Scene 2?
Obj: I can intellectually discuss Act 2, Scene 2.
I can construct meaning of the text and relate it to the E.Q.

Starter:
Think back to your reading assignment over the weekend.
Draw a scene from the scene!

Activity:

1.  Pull out those index cards from Friday.
Add two more words from the reading over the weekend.
Find the definition for your 'weird' word, and then come up with your own definition.
Write down the sentence it is used in, and create your own sentence.

2.  Role Lit Circle Meeting
Begin by determining which people will be in your group and decide on role.
Based on your role, break out from your group and meet with the people that have the same role.
Discuss what you will talk about when you formally meet with group.

3.  Lit Circle Meeting
Regroup and begin discussing what you previously talked about in other group.

4.  Class Discussion
What type of force/manipulation is evident in this scene?

5.  Begin reading Act Three

Closure:
Is Hamlet mad or sane?  Explain.
