E.Q: Who has the power amongst the different social classes?

Obj: I can identify power at different levels.

 

 

Starter:

Winston desperately tries to recall memories from his life.  What is one memory you don't ever want to forget? Describe it in detail.

Activity:

1.  Partner read chunked texts.

63-69, 69-74, and 82-85.

 

2.  Reflect on Winston's "marriage" with Katherine. 

Create a Venn Diagram that compares their relationship to a typical relationship we see in today's society.

 

 

3.  Think about the differences in social class that we have read.

Create a visual to represent these disparities. 

Start by drawing the hierarchy and create an illustration to depict each class.

 

4.  If you finish early, work on introduction and conclusion of paper.
